Doty, 73, of 22307 2060 N. Ave., Princeton died at 2:54 a.m. Nov. 4, 2005, in her home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton with the Rev. Jerold A Garber of Zion United Church of Christ in Peru officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Roscoe Cemetery in Roscoe. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday in Norberg Memorial Home. Mrs. Doty was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Peru to Robert and Ruth (Lingenfelder) Herrmann. Her first husband, John Rigden, preceded her in death in 1970. She married Charles Doty of Princeton on Aug. 19, 2000. He survives. She was a 1950 graduate of La Salle-Peru Township High School, and earned her bachelor of arts degree in computer science from Rockford College in 1984. She retired from Black Hawk Technical College in Janesville, Wis., in 1994. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, John (Sandy) Rigden of Florida; three daughters, Linda (Boyd) Boedecker of Eland, Wis., Donna (Russ) Crandall of Hickory, N.C., and Barbara (Donn) Hillers of Rockford; two sisters, Carol (Don) Peters of Peru and Dorothy (Harry) Clagg of Prineville, Ore.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
