Born on Nov. 28, 1934, in Mattoon, Wis., son of Lewis and Estella (Fuller) Lierman. Lived more than 50 years in the Rockford area. He married Sarah Davis on July 21, 1956, in Three Rivers, Mich. He was employed as a technical writer by various local firms. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Also member of Kepotah Sportsman's Club, Harmony Singing Society, Boy Scouts of America and the local Woodcrafters. He graduated from Rockford West High School in 1952. Survivors include wife, Sarah five sons, Jeremy (Dena) and Jeff Lierman, both of Rockford, Steve (Barb) Lierman of Palatine, Joe (Diana) Lierman of Shawano, Wis., and Bob (Dawn) Lierman Jr. of Asheville, N.C. 15 grandchildren six great-grandchildren father, Lewis Lierman of Rockford three brothers, Fred (Lorraine) Lierman and Richard Lierman, both of Rockford, and Ted (Doreen) Lierman of Tampa, Fla! . two sisters, Marge Seger of Rockford and Kathleen McNiff of Arizona nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sons, Karl and Toby Lierman stepmother, Myrtle and mother, Estella. Services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in St. Rita Catholic Church, with Father Gerald P. Kobbema, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, in Sundberg Funeral Home Ltd., 215 N.
