Of Arkdale, WI.Died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend, WI. Funeral services will be 4:00 pm, Monday, March 21, 2005 at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. The Rev. Ronald Hanson will officiate. Visitation will be at Roseberry's on Monday from 1 to 4 p.m. Lawrence was born June 20, 1927 Valders, WI to Chester and Amanda (Roth) Peters. He is a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army in the European theater of war. Lawrence worked as an electrician for the City of Milwaukee before retiring to Adams County, Wisconsin in 1988. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends, as well as the outdoors, gardening, hunting and campfires. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son Michael and Dolores Peters. Survivors include his children, Deborah A. (Scott Robbins) Peters, Salt Lake City, UT, Victoria M. (James Dildine) Peters, Mankato, MN, Lisa (Pat Manning) Nealey, Milwaukee, WI, Carol (Dale) Bucholtz, Gresh! am, WI, John W. (Patty) Peters, West Bend, WI, Lori (Howie) Timper, Colgate, WI, and Paul E. (Lisa) Peters, West Bend, WI, 17 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Lawrence was a loving companion of Rose Amundson and her children Tammy Renner, Larry Amundson and their families. Dear Larry, I will miss you so much - the good times and the bad.
