The cause of the fire that killed Allen Pitt has not yet been determined, the Shawano County Sheriff's Department said. He had been heating his home with small electric heaters and the home was fully engulfed in flames when authorities arrived, said Bonduel fire chief Robbie Woldt. The trailer was owned by relatives. Pitt had been living in trailers since his previous home was destroyed in a fire about 10 years ago, his family said. Pitt was a former professional opera performer and farmer. The State Fire Marshal's Office is helping with the investigation.
