(Baranczyk) Cecelia G. (Baranczyk) Spakowicz, 96, Pulaski, died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, with her family at her side. The daughter of the late Anton and Helen (Tyczkowski) Baranczyk was born Nov. 15, 1910, in Hofa Park. On June 30, 1934, she married Dominic Dan Spakowicz. Dominic preceded her in death in 1980. Cecelia enjoyed playing cards, bingo and visiting with family and friends. Cecelia was a member of the Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski and a member of the Council of Catholic Women. Cecelia is survived by her five children, Alvina Krajewski Michalski, Alvin and Rose Spakowitz, Ralph Spakowicz and Lori Ruechel, Virginia and Harold Becks, and Dorothy and Michael Baxter; 15 grandchildren, Gary (Ann) Krajewski, Anne (James)Knurowski, Deborah (John) Kramer, Kim (John) Short, Thomas Spakowitz, Joseph (Tammy) Spakowicz, Amy (Tanyi) Tanjong, Annette (Eric) Lepp, Andy Spakowicz, Christopher (Jennifer) Becks, Adam (Krissy) Becks, Pamela (Dean) Friedman, Nicholas Becks, Alison (Teng) Lee, and Sally Baxter; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Steven (Florence) Baranczyk and Albin Baranczyk; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Dominic, Cecelia was preceded in death by two children, two sons-in-law, Walter Krajewski, and Jerry Michalski, one sister, Sophie Laskowski and one sister-in-law, Carolyn Baranczyk. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007. Closing Prayer Service will be at 7:30 p.m. with the Council of Catholic Women's Service. Visitation continues after 9:30 a.m. Monday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, Pulaski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Fr. Brendan Wroblewski, O.F.M. presiding. Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
