Bast Edna O. Bast, 87, Bonduel, died Thursday, May 20, 1999, at Shawano. She was born Nov. 19, 1910, in Bonduel to the late Henry and Lena (Kopitch) Smith. Edna lived all of her life in Bonduel. She married Harold A. Bast Oct. 23, 1948. He preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1998. Edna was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bonduel, a member of Friedens Ladies Aid and Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include several cousins and special friends, Ken and Mitzi Zuleger, Bonduel. She was preceded in death by a sister, who died in infancy. Funeral service will be oday at 11 a.m. at Wendt Funeral home, Bonduel, with the Rev. Philip Geiger officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano.
