Steckbauer, 94, formerly of Aniwa, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Evansville Manor, Evansville. She was a rural mail carrier in Aniwa until her retirement on April 7, 1967. Survivors include one son, Donald (Nancy) Steckbauer, Stoughton; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Joy Meyer, Birnamwood; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
