Lincoln St., Barrington. Born Oct. 21, 1922, in Eland, Wis., she died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at St. Alexius Hospital, Hoffman Estates. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood, Wis., in the spring of 2003. Betty was the wife of the late Martin Pfau; mother of Doug (Michelle) Pfau of Elgin, and Mike Pfau of Tempe, Ariz; grandmother of Sarah Pfau and the late Andrew Pfau; daughter of the late Charles and Alvina Brown; and sister of John Brown of Newark, Del., Lorraine Brown of Sacramento, Calif., Glenn Brown of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Maybelle Shelly of Cameron Park, Calif. Memorial visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. today, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Arthritis Foundation.
