She was born Sept. 6, 1940, in Shawano, to Lester and Evelyn Labutzke. Monnie graduated from Bonduel High School in 1958. In 1961, she married Thomas Tinsman. She was employed by American Medical Security for the past ten years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Monnie is survived by her husband, Tom; her parents, Les and Evelyn Labutzke, Bonduel; one daughter and son-in-law, Kerrie (Todd) Diedrich, Kaukauna; two sons, Richard Tinsman and Anthony Tinsman, both of Madison; her pride and joy, her three grandchildren, Connor, Cooper and Cayci Diedrich; four sisters, Sheilah Franzosa (and special friend, Virg), Madison; Lynn Berkhahn, Cecil; Kris Labutzke (and special friend, Jody), Green Bay; and Kathy (John) Zuehlsdorf, Oshkosh. She is further survived by her husband's family, Pat (Barb) Tinsman, Santa Maria, Calif.; and Kay (George) Arndt, Reedfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ward and Ceil Tinsman; two brothers-in-law, Dennis and John Tinsman; and one nephew, Paul Tinsman. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday directly at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of services. There will be a Parish Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. memorial fund has been established with the Breast Cancer Family Foundation which was created and is dedicated in her memory. The family would like to thank Dr. Konsek and his staff, the staff of Manorcare, the staff of Rennes and the staff at Affinity Hospice for their tender care given to Monnie during her illness.
