Glenzer, 77, formerly of Angelica, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his home, with his family at his side. The son of the late John and Mary (Hermans) Glenzer was born on Feb. 29, 1932, in Green Bay. On Nov. 15, 1952, he married Ardella Adams in Green Bay. Together they enjoyed 57 years of marriage. Jim worked for many years at Northwest Engineering. He and Della owned and operated Jim and Della's Midway Bar in Angelica from 1974 to 2008 where they made many good friends. Jim also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family has "inherited" his love for fishing. Jim could never pass by a rummage sale. In addition to his wife, Della, he is further survived by a daughter, Sue (Tom) Swenson, Suamico; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tom Glenzer, Berry Lake; Ron (Clarissa "Chris") Glenzer, Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Shane, Chad, Jesse and Tammi, Naomi, Brooke, and Melissa; nine great-grandchildren and two on the way; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Carrie and one brother, Chester (Terry) Glenzer. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2009. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. officiating, with entombment in Fort Howard Mausoleum, Green Bay.
