Edward was a descendant of German pioneers who homesteaded in the Bonduel area of Northern Wisconsin. He moved to Tucson in 1981 to enjoy the desert and Santa Catalina Mountains. Edward's main interests during his life were finance, travel and enjoying classical music. He was a student of the stock market and was involved in business ventures until his death. Edward was afflicted throughout his life with MS but handled this obstacle with courage, endurance and humor. Edward's warm and gentle personality drew all who knew him to become life long friends which was much evidenced in his last days. Edward's Christian faith grew and developed as a member of the Zion Methodist church in Bonduel, WI and later strengthened in his later years in the First Church of God in Tucson. Edward's father, Wallace Seering, preceded him in death in 1973. Edward is survived by his mother of 91 years, Arlene Seering of Tucson; his sister,! Joy (Doug) Werner of Valencia, CA; a nephew, Kristian (Gol) Werner of Stevenson Ranch, CA; two nieces, Kathryn (Charley) Werner Frank of Valencia, CA and Ericka (Morgan) Walker of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by his sister's grandchildren, Erick, Ian and Arianna Joy Werner and Raleigh, Austin and Lauren Walker. Edward will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call Monday, December 8, 2003 from 400 to 800 p.m. at EVERGEEN MORTUARY. A Service will be held in Tucson at the First Church of God, 3355 N. Fontana, 1100 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2003. He will be buried in Bonduel, WI in the family cemetery that was established by his great-grandfather, August Seering in the 1860's.
