Theresa C. O'Keefe, 89, 515 No. Washington St., De Pere, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, in a local nursing home. The daughter of the late John and Barbara (Kerschbaum) was born April 11, 1910, in Aniwa, Wis. On October 8, 1934, she married David O'Keefe at St. Boniface Church in Aniwa. He preceded her in death in August 9, 1979. Survivors include her children, Donna and Richard Strombach, Jerome and Judi O'Keefe, Richard and Patricia O, Keefe, Kenny O'Keefe, Mike and Cindy O'Keefe, all of Green Bay; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one brother, John, two sisters, Barbara Knutson, Rosella Suess, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, parents, and six brothers and sisters. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 No. 10 Street, De Pere, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday until the procession leaves for church. There will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan's. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Community on Pope John XXIII Circle, off Sportsman Drive in the Town of Ledgeview. The Rev. John H. Harper will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Theresa's family extends a very special thank you to the loving staff at Brown County Mental Health Center, Nursing Home Unit, for their care and support during these past months.
