Petersen Marian G. Petersen, 96, formerly of Waucousta and a resident of Liberty House in Fond du Lac, went to her heavenly home Saturday, June 3, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born in Manawa on April 22, 1910, the daughter of the late Paul and Daisy Sawyer Gray. On March 22, 1930, she married Alfred Petersen in Parfreyville in Waupaca County. Marian enjoyed fishing, playing cards, gardening and traveling. Survivors include her sons, Gene (special friend Barb Thelen) Petersen of Aniwa and Duane (Georgia) Petersen of Campbellsport; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Vivian Knutson of Poulsbo, Wash.; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred on Sept. 23, 1986; a brother Perry Gray; and a sister, Isla Hetzel. * Services: Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2006, at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport. Burial will be Tuesday, June 6 at Elmwood Cemetery in the Town of Belmont in Portage County. * Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
