DeWan Carol J. "Bunnie" DeWan, 63, Venice, died March 27, 2002. She was born April 17, 1938, in Antigo, Wis., and came to Sarasota in 1968 from Gresham, Wis. She was a Roman Catholic. Survivors include her companion, Maurice Despradels; a daughter, Amy Henke of Sarasota; a son, Jay Henke of Sarasota; brothers Tom of St. Petersburg, Jerry of Nokomis and Dean of Antigo; and two grandsons. A Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Epiphany Cathedral, Santa Maria Chapel. James A. McKee Funeral Home, North Port, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1750 17th St., Suite A, Sarasota, FL 34234.
