Paul was born in Mattoon, WI, moved to Wenatchee, WA to marry his wife Leona (LaRue) where he was an accountant for Alcoa. Paul and Leona raised two sons, Paul and Philip, and provided a loving and comforting home to many foster children. They also spent many years living in San Mateo, CA where Paul worked for Buster Brown Textiles as a warehouse supervisor. They also resided for some time in Poulsbo, WA finally settling in Port Orchard. Paul and Leona spent the last few years visiting with friends and family along with enjoying the beauty of our country while traveling in their motor home. Paul is survived by his wife, Leona of Port Orchard; sons, Paul S. Baker (Helen) of Redwood City, CA and Philip Baker (Dawn) of Port Orchard; three grandsons, Brian Baker of Denver, CO Mark and Casey Baker of Port Orchard, WA; two brothers Leonard and Stephen; sisters, Cora and Eunice all residing in Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A Private Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date. Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor is handling arrangements.
