HALLER Dana David Haller, 46, died Jan. 1, 2003. Dana was a graduate of Manor High School in Portsmouth, a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., with a degree in piano and a graduate of Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas with a master's degree in organ. Dana had been the organist for First Baptist Church Norfolk since 1985. He was an avid lover of music, family, friends, his bulldogs, Christmas decorations and cross stitch. Dana was predeceased by his father, James J. ''JJ'' Haller and his brother, Kenneth L. Haller. He is survived by his mother, Frances Vick ''Vickie'' Haller; an uncle, James Vick and wife Ethel of Capron, Va.; four aunts, Mary Brown and husband Jack of Gresham, Wis., Mildred Rosenbeck and husband John, and Lucille Vick, all of Jacksonville, Fla., and Donna Wiley of New Eagle, Pa. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, other family members and many special friends. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church Norfolk by the Rev. Richard Baker. Visitation will follow at the church. Burial will be private. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements. In honor of his love for animals, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA.
