She was born on July 30, 1923, in the Town of Herman, Shawano Co. to the late John and Emma (Viergutz) Kroll. In 1943, she married Harold Weede. He was killed in service in 1945. In 1947, she married Vilas "Mike" Wichmann. He preceded her in death in 1968. Lorian was employed for 20 years by McGraw-Hill Dodge Reports. She was an avid Packers fan and was one of several who organized the Westside Lions Girls Softball League. She was a longtime volunteer for the Mobile Meals Program and a former member of Green Bay Solo Parents organization. She was an active member of St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church and its ladies guild. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carolyn Weede, Oregon, Wis.; and Mark and Mary Wichmann, Pulaski; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kerry and Patrick Hill and Lori and Brian Conners, all of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Brian Hill, Tim Hill, Tyler Wichmann, Cody Wichmann and Nancy (Weede) Rhodes; one great-grandson, Jacob Hill; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Maurice and Hazel Kroll, Medford; Robert and Elaine Kroll, Neenah; and Donald Kroll, Bonduel; one sister, Ilamae Buckoski, Green Bay; a sister-in-law, Gladys Wichmann, Marion; nieces, nephews; and a special friend, Harold (Butch) Horn, Green Bay. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jeff Hill. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd. Visitation continues after 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Ev. Lutheran Church where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Parlow officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano. special thank you to Dr. Steven Bollom and the third floor nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital for the care that was provided. Lorian's children would like to say a very special thank you to Butch Horn for the loving care he has given to their mother. A memorial fund has been established.
