Mr. Bushnell retired from Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, IL in 1972 after 31 years of employment. He was a member of the Living Word Lutheran Church, Lantana; (Life Member) V.F.W., Boynton Beach Post #5335; (Past Master) Sequoit Lodge #827, A.F. & A.M., Antioch, IL; Scottish Rite, Valley of Chicago; Medinah Shrine Temple, Chicago, IL. Mr. Bushnell is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, LaVerne; three children, Susan Perry of Austin, TX, David of Naperville, IL, Barbara Law of Boynton Beach; two brothers, Howard of DeMott, IN; Irving of Caroline, WI; six grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held Wednesday (today), June 4, 1997 at 7:00 PM at the SCOBEE-COMBS-BOWDEN FUNERAL HOME, U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach conducted by Boynton Lodge #236, F. & A.M. A Church Memorial Service will be held, Thursday, June 5, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. at the Living Word Lutheran Church, Lan -tana with Rev. George Thumb officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Living Word Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Palm Beaches in Mr. Bushnell's memory.
