Gladys M. Watson, 89, Allouez, died on Monday, March 12, 2001, at Odd Fellow Nursing Home. Gladys was born on Oct. 2, 1911, in Green Bay, the daughter of the late William and Marie Miller, On Oct. 1, 1962, she married Robert R. Watson. He preceded her in death. Gladys was employed for many years at the former Barnard Corporation as a secretary until her retirement as Vice President. She was a member of Grace Lutheran church and volunteered her time as a Girl Scout Leader. Gladys belonged to the Altrussa Club and was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club. Gladys is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Dick Connolly, Minocqua, Wis. six grandchildren, William F. Connolly, Louisville, Ky. Mary (Jon) Leubner, Wauwatosa, Wis. Virginia (Gary) Grasmick, Pella, Wis. Barbara (Jon) Blick, Milwaukee, Wis. Ann (Carl) Jacobs, Minneapolis, Minn. Sheila (Stephen) Lederer, Madison, Wis. 12 great-grandchildren two daughters by marriage, Jill W. Stone, Lisle, Ill. Judy (Fred) Cimaglio, Inverness, Ill. and their children and grandchildren two nieces other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, William. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Memorial Service 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Kuehn officiating. Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home (432-4841) is assisting the family.
