Survivors include his wife, Brenda; three sons, Russell Diem of Hortonville, Wis. and Scott and Bradley Diem, both of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Christine Solis of Green Bay, Wis. and Diane Shipley of New London, Wis.; four brothers, Harvey Diem of New London, Wis., Edward Diem of Clintonville, Wis., Clarence Diem of Donna and Robert Diem of Menasha, Wis.; three sisters, Eileen Kennen of New London, Wis., Dorothy Swartz of Gresham, Wis. and Carol Lehman of Tigerton, Wis.; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Private services were held.
