She was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Bowler, Wis. Before moving to Chino, she lived in Wisconsin for 31 years. She was employed by the Chino Unified School District for 30 years. Her office was located at Boys Republic High School in Chino. She is survived by daughter, Marcia McGovern; one grandson; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Friday, April 24, 2009, at Pierce Bros. Griffith Mortuary, Chino. Interment followed at Pomona Valley Memorial Park in Pomona. Funeraria del Angel Pierce Bros.
