Visitation will be on Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 1100 Boulevard, Westfield, with services at 7:30 p.m. There will be a brief service at the church at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday with interment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island. Transportation will be provided for those who wish to go to the cemetery. For additional information, contact Memorial Funeral Home in Fanwood at 908-322-4350. Born in Norway, Mrs. Thompson resided in Westfield for the past 28 years. She received her B.S.N. from the Cornell School of Nursing at New York Hospital and was employed with Patient Care Inc. in Westfield for 25 years, training home health aides. Surviving are her husband, Arthur Thompson; two daughters, Kristine Camillone of Harrison, N.Y., and Martita McGowan of Vineland; her son, Karl Thompson of Gresham, Wis.; her mother, Aslaug Ostby of Norway; her sister, Lise Bentsen of Wilmington, N.C.; three other sisters and two brothers in Norway, and eight grandchildren.
