Cohler Jane M. Cohler, age 82, of Libertyville, IL, died Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at Winchester House in Libertyville, IL. Born on June 4, 1919, in Mattoon, WI, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mae (Prahl) Turney. As a young girl she moved to Antigo, WI and graduated from Antigo High School. On September 17, 1938, she married James Robert Cohler. He preceded her in death in 1977. She moved to Kenosha in 1956 and worked for Warwick Manufacturing until they closed. Manutronics then employed her until she retired in 1989. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening. She was a Past Matron-Order of Eastern Star, Kenosha Chapter 92. She is survived by her son James A. Cohler of Kenosha; three daughters, Sue (Richard) Casey of Kenosha, June (Clyde) Golwitzer of Waukegan, IL and Roberta (Lonnie) Kyle of Chatham, IL; a brother John Turney and a sister Ruth Newberry of Antigo, WI and 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Gail Thompson and three sisters, Jean Demblow, Edith Eaton and Marion Dizel. Services for Mrs. Cohler will be Saturday, April 27th, 2002 at 3 PM at HANSEN-LENDMAN FUNERAL HOME, 6019-7th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of service.
