Hoffmann Waupaca David E. Hoffmann Waupaca, WI. Age 62, died on Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at his residence. He was born on May 14, 1938, in Aniwa, WI., a son of the late Frank and Mary (Heinzl) Hoffman. He married Mary (Martin) on November 14, 1959 in Manawa, WI. Survivors include his wife: Mary, a son: Michael (Lita) Hoffman of Belvedere, CA., three daughters: Jeanne (Leroy) Kaminske of Waupaca, WI., Karen (Jeff) Larson of Eau Claire, WI., and Susan (Brad) Popham of Waupaca, WI., eleven grandchildren: Ian, Ryan, Betsy, Braden, Evan, Adam, Emilee, Bailee, Zoe, Johnny, and Jacob, a brother: Oscar (June) Hoffmann of Manawa, WI., and a sister: Mary Giese of Waupaca, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia, his parents, three brothers: Frankie, Rhiney, and Alfie, and his mother-in-law: Clara Martin. Dave was a member of the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church of Waupaca. He had been employed with Wisconsin Public Service for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and woodworking. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sports. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca on Saturday, June 17, 2000, at 10:30 a.m., with Father Michael Clifford, Father Norman Krutzik, and Father William Kuhr, Concelebrants. Interment will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Township of Little Wolf, Waupaca County. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home. Memorials are appreciated to Waupaca County Hospice in the name of David E. Hoffmann. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
