Heck Richard L. Heck, 61, Bonduel, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed from this life to his eternal home Thursday, March 25, 1999. Richard was born March 2, 1938, to the late Lorenz and Virginia (Mahn) Heck. With the exception of the two years spent serving his country, he spent his entire life in Bonduel. He married Bette Stuewer on October 1, 1960, in Shawano. In 1978, they purchased Heck Hardware. Richard will be best remembered for his selfless giving and dedication to his customers. Dick was a faithful member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bonduel, for all of his life. Survivors include his wife, Bette; two children, Anthony Heck (special friend, Linda Hagen), Shawano; Teresa (Mark) Heckman, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Christina and Daniel Heckman; three sisters, Beverly (Bernie) Hookstead, Milton; Joyce Heck, St. Paul, Minn.; and Jackie Zuleger (special friend, Jerry Barber), Shawano; also very special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra and Dick Dodge, Shawano; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Richard enjoyed gardening and helping others. The greatest joy in his life was his two grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband and father. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Visitation will be Sunday, March 28, at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bonduel, from 4 to 8 p.m. and also on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Philip Geiger officiating. Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. lthough we're separated for now, you'll live in our hearts forever. We love you!!
