The son of the late Paul and Emma (Skinkis) Czarapata was born Jan. 27, 1927, in the Town of Pittsfield. On Nov. 5, 1949, he married the former Mary Myers in Green Bay. The couple had farmed in the Town of Pittsfield for many years. Farming was his life. Jake also enjoyed polka music and dancing. He was an avid fan of his family's stock car racing. He liked to play cards and spend time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Mary four sons and three daughters-in-law, Daniel and Tamra Czarapata, Bonduel Norbert Czarapata and his special friend, Angie, Pulaski Michael and Gayle Czarapata, Pulaski Robert and Sherry Czarapata, Krakow two daughters and one son-in-law, Beverly Czarapata and Tim O'Donnell, Madison Donna Czarapata and her fiance Loren Whiting, Pulaski 15 grandchildren three great-grandchildren his father-in-law, Linley P. Myers, Evansville, Ind. two sisters, Mary Wech, West Allis Helen Wesolowski, Pulaski two sisters-in-law, Frances Czarapata, Pulaski Marlene Czarapata, Wind Lake. He was preceded in death by one son, Matthew in 1984 four brothers two sisters. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visitation continues after 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Edward & Isidore Church, Flintville. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Fr. David Kasperek officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
