(Lucille) Holewinski, 88, Pulaski, died peacefully Tuesday evening, Jan. 23, 2001, at a Seymour nursing home. She was born Dec. 24, 1912, to the late Frank and Frances (Radecki) Januchowski. On June 26, 1934, she married John V. Holewinski. The couple had farmed her family homestead until their retirement. Lucille especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends, traveling, fishing and gardening. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Hofa Park, where she belonged to the Rosary Society. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Rose Marie (Leonard) Mastey, Pulaski Rita (Leon) Smith, Pulaski Don (Carol) Holewinski, Ashwaubenon Diane (Robert) Paulick, North Carolina Kenneth J. (Diane) Holewinski, Pulaski Gary Holewinski, Bonduel 21 grandchildren 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and a granddaughter, Michelle Smith. Friends may call at St. Stanislaus Church, Hofa Park, after 9 a.m. Saturday. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to express a special thank you to the entire staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour, for the care and support given to Lucille and would also like to extend their gratitude to her friends at Colonial Apartments in Pulaski.
