Frederick (Fritz) A. Treptow, age 92, of Shawano, died Saturday, August 12, 2000. He was born March 8, 1908, in the Town of Trenten, Dodge County, to the late Charles and Hulda Treptow. He farmed in the Town of Lessor for many years. Fritz married Alice Colling Sept. 5, 1936, in Seymour. She preceded him in death June 23, 1977. The last several years Fritz lived in Bonduel and Shawano. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing carpentry work. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Lessor, and also a former member of the church council and men's club. Survivors include a daughter, Judy (Fred) Gueller, of Pulaski two sons, Robert Treptow, of Athelstane and Darrell Treptow, of North Lake, Ill. five grandchildren, Cynthia (Pat) Graf, Frazer Corners Jodi (Kelly) Cramer, Angelica Scott Gueller and Jessica Rudnick, Frazer Corners Sheri (Gerard) Hietpas, De Pere and Shaun Gueller, Pulaski and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and John and a sister-in-law, Louise Behnke. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 15, at 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Lessor, with Rev. Larry Lange and Rev. Brad Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 11 a.m. to the time of service.
