Sorcic, Joseph F. Age 86, of Shawano, formerly of Waukesha, died Monday, May 11, 2009. He worked at Allis Chalmers 40 years, retiring in 1982, he was a a charter member and founding father of the Town of Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, and the Local Union #248. Joe is survived by his wife, Mary; 5 children, Robert (Ila) Sorcic, Florence, AZ, Mary Jo (Bill) Galante, Adams, Thomas Sorcic, Atlanta, GA, Bonita (John) Lindner, Jessup, MD, and Jacqueline (Rudolph) Kuntz, Hollywood, CA; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Rudy Sorcic, Tuskin, Jack (Marilyn) Sorcic, West Allis, and Carl (Darlene) Sorcic, Bonduel; 1 sister, Elsie Mae (Ken) Arntz, Greenfield. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, May 14, 2009, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Keshena. Inurnment in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove. Visitation is at the church on Thursday after 10AM until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in !
