Gast: Couple dies in accident in Shawano County Couple dies in accident in Shawano County SHAWANO - An 88-year-old Bonduel man and his 85-year-old wife died Wednesday as the result of a car crash at 1:38 p.m. on Highway 22 in the town of Wescott. Harvey F. Gast was pronounced dead at the Shawano Medical Center. Lerena E. Gast died later. The Shawano County Sheriff's Department said the Gast vehicle stopped at the intersection of Highway 22 and Highway BE, then pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Gerry Magsam, 27, of Cecil.
