Maroszek, 83, Hofa Park, died peacefully and then danced her way to heaven on Monday, July 6, 2009. The daughter of the late Valentine and Stella (Wozniak) Majewski was born on Sept. 25, 1925 in the town of Maple Grove, where she was a lifelong resident. On May 25, 1946 she married John Maroszek in Hofa Park. They were blessed with 54 years of marriage and 14 children. Clara was well-known for baking her special chiffon birthday cakes and always made your birthday special when she asked you what flavor of cake you wanted. You could always find Clara on the dance floor. She loved to polka dance, especially when her children and grandchildren were performing. Clara was an excellent cook and cooked for many years for St. Stanislaus Parish for weddings, picnics and funerals. She was proud of all her family and nourished them not only with food but with love and kindness. She was proud of her strong Catholic faith and taught us all by example the true meaning of Christian service to our Lord. She was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus Parish, Hofa Park, where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Clara enjoyed playing cards, quilting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially attending all their concerts and sporting events. We will all miss her big, warm smile, her contagious laugh, and her never-ending energy for life. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and Duane Mijal, Green Valley, Patricia and James Nowak, Sobieski, Karen and Kevin Adams, Pulaski, Carol and Cory Witthuhn, Pulaski; eight sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Mary Jo, Ronald and Barbara, Ken and Diane, Eugene and Janet, Frank and Deloris, Allan and Jan, Thomas and Paula, Scott and Tracy, all of Pulaski; 43 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and one expected in August; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Adrian Majewski, Hofa Park, Raphael and Geri Majewski, Sobieski. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jacob and Millie Maroszek, Pulaski, Florence Maroszek, Green Bay, Janice Maroszek, Green Bay, and Bob Teschner, Waukesha. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000, a daughter, Virginia; a son, John (Beaver); a grandson, Robert Maroszek, infant siblings, her step-mother, Theresa Majewski, and a sister-in-law, Mary Majewski. We would like to thank everyone who had a part in helping our mother live a full, active life while staying in the comfort of her own home. You all made her smile.
