Flo was born in Devils Lake, N.D., April 27, 1921. She was past president of the Senior Bowling League of Skyline Lanes, Duluth. She was an avid maker of arts and craft items. Flo loved the outdoors and absolutely enjoyed every opportunity to fish. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ila Zielski; her father, John Holderness; and a brother, Richard Holderness. She is survived by her sister, Mamie Hoffmier of Pella, Wis.; an aunt, Glenna (Witte) Collins of Dluth; a daughter, Bobbie Johnson; and granddaughers Sherri (Bob Graham) Skutevik, Ryckie (Don) Potvien and Toni Collins; great-grandchildren Philip Potvien, Destany Collins, Devon Eng and Hanna Gordon; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service: 2 p.m. today in Chris Jensen Nursing Home.
