Born on October 21, 1909, at Advance, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Emma (Kroening) Bohm. She had been employed at Mehlberg's Bakery and Martin's Decorating, Shawano and was a Shawano County resident all of her life. She enjoyed craft work and gardening. She married Otto Lohrengel on October 7, 1933, in Bonduel. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1990. Hulda is a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Shawano. Survivors include seven children, Orvis (Janet) Bohm, Shawano; Delores (Jerome) Meverden, Shawano; Lorraine (Harland) Zehren, Bonduel; Robert (Jean) Lohrengel, Shawano; Arthur (Rita) Lohrengel, Green Bay; Kenneth (Betty) Lohrengel, Shawano; Kathy (Allen) Tomashek, Shawano; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Herbert (Frances) Bohm, Green Bay; Lydia Meyer, Green Bay; Eleanor Schaeltzle, Cincinnati; Anna LeAnna, Arizona; Martha (Wilmar) Westphal, Bonduel; Hilbert Bohm, Advance. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at St. James Lutheran Church, Shawano with the Rev. William Otte officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Swedberg Funeral Home, Shawano from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and also on Tuesday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. There will also be visitation at the church from 12:30 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the services.
