Evie worked in home health care in the Mattoon area. Survivors include four sons, Edward (Elaine) Spaulding, Mattoon, Donald (Marilyn) Spaulding, Wisconsin Rapids, Harry (Sandy) Spaulding II, Kane, Pa., and Robert (Jean) Spaulding, Dallas; one daughter, Gloria (Donald) Olson, Aniwa; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth Steinke, Birnamwood, and Viola Gnat, Conover. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Mattoon United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Aniwa. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at the church. Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mattoon United Methodist Church.
