Grove St., Lexington, died at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 5, 1995) at her home. Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lexington Cemetery, the Rev. Dennis Pritchard officiating. She was cremated. There will be no visitation. Musselman-Beck Funeral Home, Lexington, has charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Lexington Ambulance. Survivors include her husband, Roger Keirsey; one daughter, Judith Diane Peden, Lexington; one sister, Rebecca Brady, Bloomington; and three brothers, Earl Thomas, Herscher; and Cliffton Thomas and Roger Eugene Thomas, both of Aniwa, Wis. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Garey Brentwick, Bloomington, and Jill Dianne Mohr, Carey, N.C.; one stepgrandson, James Peden II, St. George, Utah; two stepgranddaughters, Ashley Marie Peden and Chelsea Nicole Peden, both of St. George, Utah; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel Elyse Mohr and Bridget Anne Mohr, both of Carey, N.C. Her parents; one brother, Al Thomas; and one niece preceded her in death. Mrs. Keirsey was born Dec. 11, 1920, in Glasgow, Ky., a daughter of L. Lee and Muriel Bertram Thomas. She married Roger Keirsey Feb. 13, 1960, in Bloomington. She was a beautician and owned Toby's Beauty Shop in Lexington. She served with the Women's Army Corps during World War II.
