"Net" Jeanette K. "Net" Bartow, 71, Green Bay, went to her heavenly home Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, following a 19-year battle with cancer. She was born March 4, 1938, in Shawano, to Grover and Florence (Schultz) Kruse. Jeanette was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1956. On Sept. 28, 1957, she married Robert Bartow at Redeemer Lutheran Church. For 41 years, Jeanette was employed by Fort Howard Paper Company. She loved snowmobiling, hunting, bowling, taking numerous trips, playing cards, participating in Bible Class and in the sewing club at her church. Jeanette was an avid dog lover who made many contributions to the Green Bay Humane Society. She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Lila Ulrich, Appleton; Margaret Ulrich, William "Bill" and Betsy Kruse, Alice Kabacinski, Robert Kruse, all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Cheryl Berg, Seymour, and her family, Nicolette, Benjamin, William, Joseph; and many special loving and caring friends and neighbors. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; five brothers and sisters, Carl, Mae, Adeline, Donald and Inez; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. Friends may also call at St. Mark Lutheran Church, corner of Oneida St. and Kenwood St., Green Bay, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
