SHANNON A service will be at 2 p.m. May 25, 1994, in Caldwell's Colonial Chapel. Mr. Shannon was born March 13, 1962, in Shawano, Wis. He died of respiratory failure May 19, 1994. He was 32. He attended Oregon City High School and Commonwealth Community College in Virginia. He worked as a front desk employee for Residence Inn at the Lloyd Center, where he was honored as employee of the year in 1993. Mr. Shannon was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his longtime companion, Michael D. Goetz of Portland; father and stepmother, Wayne A. and Annette J. of Oregon City; mother, Ella Mae Rathe of Sturgeon Bay, Wis.; brothers, Paul A. of Oregon City, John W. of Hawaii, Ron of California, Steve of Oregon City; sisters, Peggy S. Shannon of Portland, Jennifer J. Grende of Oregon City; and grandmothers, Hazel Shannon of Shawano, Wis. and Mary Quast of McComb, Miss. Disposition was by cremation. Remembrances: charity of choice.
