He was born in Brockton, Mass., and came here in 1981 from Massachusetts. He was vice president of research and development with Poly Plastics International. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. Survivors include his wife, Nancy E.; a son, Allen, Clearwater; six daughters, Elaine Nelson, Raleigh, N.C., Andrea Shively, Algonquin, Ill., Susan Muennich, St. Petersburg, Gayle Stepnowsky, Shawano, Wis., Claire Stepnowsky, Macon, Ga., and Carole Stepnowsky, Toledo, Ohio, and four grandchildren.
