GRANT DAVIS SEAMAN MANUFACTURING RETIREE Mr. Grant R. Davis, 79, of 505 S. Main St., died Sunday, Aug. 13, 1995. Funeral services will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Davis, a native of Shawano County, Wis., had lived in Greensboro for three years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, retired from Seaman Manufacturing, a member of First Methodist Church and a member of Disabled American Veterans Lodge, Ontanoga, Mich. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Davis; three sons, David Davis, Oxford, Mich., Harry Davis, Augusta, and William Davis, Washington, Ga.; a daughter, Gale Weaver, Greensboro; four brothers, Lonnie and Lyle Davis, Sanford, Mich., Ross Davis, Dallas, Wis., and Joseph Davis, Holly, Mich.; four sisters, Eunice McComber, Marysville, Mich., Faye Powellson, Tracy, Calif., Julia Myers, Waterford, Mich., and Donna Windsor, White Pine, Mich.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Greensboro First Methodist Church, Broad Street, Greensboro. Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
