Davis, (Nee DeLong) born in Aniwa, WI on November 4, 1913 passed away peacefully into the arms of God on Saturday, August 24,2002 at the age of 88. Dearly loved wife of the late James. Devoted and loving mother of Rita (Roger) Schaefer. Treasured grandma of Douglas (Diana), Matthew (Kerstin) and Tiffany Schaefer. Precious great grandma of Landreva, Miranda, Kayla and Victoria. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Gert was wonderful, kind and loving. Her memory will always be cherished. We have all been so blessed in our lives to have had her with us. Her strong belief that God was always with her was true and now she is with Him. Special thank you to Emma and all of Mother's caregivers. Services were held Monday, August 26, 2002 at Zwaska Funeral Home, Milwaukee, WI. Burial and final committal was at Union Cemetery, Aniwa, WI on Tuesday, August 27, 2002.
