He was a member of First United Methodist Church and past president of American Association of Retired Persons chapter in Avon Park. He is survived by his wife, Florine C.; a daughter, Joan B. Perron of Escondido, Calif.; two sons, Eugene of Shawano, Wis., and George of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Elsie Crow of Avon Park; two stepsons, Jack H. Cannon of Johnson City, Tenn., an d Charles Cannon of Pittsburgh; a sister, Margaret Payette of Escondido; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Fountain Funeral Home, Avon Park.
