Short DECATUR -Steven L. Short, 50, of Shawano, Wis., formerly of Decatur, died Monday (March 1, 1993) in Marshfield, Wis., after a lingering illness. Services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church of Shewano, Wis. and 10 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Decatur. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church and after 9 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Arrangements by Brintlinger's Funeral Home. Memorials: St. James Lutheran Church Trust Fund in Shawano, Wis. Mr. Short was born Jan. 16, 1943, in Decatur, the son of John L. and Irene Plankenhorn Short. He was a graduate of Illinois State University and had taught business education at Wauconda. For the past 22 years he had been employed as a comptroller at AMPI-Morning Glory, Shawano, Wis. Mr. Short was an active and faithful member of the St. James Lutheran Church and has served as the church treasurer. Surviving are ! his parents, John L. and Irene Short of Decatur; brothers, Allen L. Short and wife Jeanette of Streamwood; John M. Short of Champaign; niece, Ann Short of Streamwood; nephew, David Short of Schaumberg; special friend, Rosemary Fierek of Shawano.
