Johnson, 73, formerly of Thief River Falls, died Saturday July 15, 1989 in Stevens Point, Wis. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood, Cemetery, Thief River Falls. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday in Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls. Roy Stanley Johnson was born May 17, 1916 in Thief River Falls, the son of Oscar and Alta Johnson. He was a Montgomery Ward store manager in Stevens Point and held similar positions in Ashland, Appleton and Shawano, Wis. He also was a veteran of World War II. Survivors are a son, Timm, Dubuque, Iowa, daughter, Virginia (Mrs Fred) Russler, Appleton, and four grandchildren. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
