DENNEVILLE, EYE BANK DIRECTOR A prayer service for Helen M. Denneville, 70, a choral singer and a member of the board of directors of the Buffalo Eye Bank and Research Society, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in Amigone Funeral Home, 569 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Infant of Prague Catholic Church, 921 Cleveland Drive. Entombment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. Mrs. Denneville, a Buffalo native who lived in Cheektowaga, died Wednesday (Nov. 13, 1991) in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. She was a graduate of Riverside High School and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. Music played a big part in her life. She sang in the choir of All Saints Church in Riverside for 16 years and in the choir at Infant of Prague Church. She also sang and performed at retirement homes with the Kenmore Lions Club and at various functions for the Blind Association of Western New York. Her concern for the blind and persons with impaired vision led her to become active in the Buffalo Eye Bank. Surviving are her husband, Albert; three daughters, Helen Thielke of Shawano, Wis., Margaret Lappin and Maureen Gerber of the Buffalo area; two sons, Joseph O'Connell of Green Bay, Wis., and James O. O'Connell of Fairfield, Ohio; her mother, Della Mullen of Cheektowaga, and 12 grandchildren. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
