Bonnin Inez L. Bonnin, age 87, 1475 Birch Hill Lane, Shawano, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 1988 at Shawano. She was born on June 27, 1901 at Kewaunee, the daughter of the late Simon and Linda (Schweers) Luckenback. She was a graduate of Shawano High School and Milwaukee Normal (Teachers College). She had taught school at Clintonville for 3 years and was an elementary school teacher for 22 years. She was married on June 1, 1925 at Shawano to Christian Henry Bonnin. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1988. They had lived at Mont Clair, New Jersey for over 50 years, returning to Shawano in 1985. She was a 50 year member of the Shawano Eastern Star, was very active in the Republican Party, and was a very accomplished pianist. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Janice Luckenbach, Shawano; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Judge Orville S. Luckebach. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Born-Swedberg Funeral Home, Shawano, with the Rev. Thomas Beck officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call this evening from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be Eastern Star services at 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
