Daniel Harold P. Daniel, age 79, of Shawano passed away on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009 at ManorCare of Shawano. He was born in Shawano on Nov. 2, 1929, the son of the late Harry and Ida (Schultz) Daniel. Harold was employed for many years at Phoenix Manufacturing and Weber Plywood & Veneer of Shawano and he farmed in the Town of Waukechon. Harold was an avid vegetable gardener and enjoyed woodworking. He was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and volunteered much of his time and talents for the church. Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Gilbert (Joni) Daniel, Rice Lake, Gladys (Thomas) Ludolph, Shawano, James (Judith) Daniel, Shawano, and Nancy Gianoli, Woodbury, Minn.; a sister-In-law, Mary Ann Hucek, Green Bay; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Daniel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Shawano with Fr. Len Evers as celebrant. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Shawano. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of services.
