Frank J. Dingeldein, 82, of Century Ridge Assisted Living Center in Chilton, died on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at the Chilton Care Center. He was born on Feb. 7, 1927, in Bonduel, son of the late Frank and Annie (Krueger) Dingeldein. He married Gladys Ashauer, and she preceded him in death on June 29, 1974. Frank had served in the U.S. Army following World War II, worked for the Nestle Corp. in Hilbert, and at the New Hope Center in Chilton for many years. He was a former member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert, and the American Legion Post #127 of Hilbert. Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Dale) Schoenung, Chilton; Brenda (Alan) Hansen, Chilton; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Iris, Fern, Marie, and Max. He was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Rodney Dingeldein; two brothers, Jimmy and Eugene; and two sisters, Pearl and June. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St., in Chilton, with Hospice Chaplain Bob Lantz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Hilbert.
