Wickman, 63, of Rural Route 2 died at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 1995, at his home. Born Sept. 9, 1932, in Shawano, Wis., to Paul and Gertrude Vonloh Wickman, he married Ruth Ann O'Grady. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Gertrude Noyes of Kenosha, Wis.; three sons, Dean and Troy, both of Havana, and Marty of Prue, Okla.; one daughter, Marianne Cross of Commerce City, Colo.; four sisters, Dorla Kraft of Pensacola, Fla., Shirley Demrow of Kenosha, Mrs. Gerald (Phyllis) Schwenn of Willard, Wis., and Mrs. John (Betty) Tenhagen of Burlington, Wis.; one brother, Vern of Sarasota, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren. Two sons, Rory and Loran, and one sister preceded him in death. He was a maintenance laborer for Chicago and Illinois Midland Railroad from 1962 until retiring in 1994. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited; National Rifle Association; Masonic Lodge 88, AF&AM; and was an honorary member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6408. He was of the Lutheran faith. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. The Rev. Jim Windsor will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be made to the Roger Wickman Memorial Fund in care of Havana National Bank. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
