She was born June 19, 1908, in Navarino, Wis. to the late John and Sophie (Kisner) Rief. On Oct. 22, 1927, she married Eugene LaPlante. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1953. On March 3, 1973, she married Ernest Wolff who also preceded her in death. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Wolff enjoyed gardening, crafts and cooking. Survivors include six children and their spouses, Lyle and Donna LaPlante, Dorothy and Gordon Manteufel, all of Green Bay Duane and Audrey LaPlante, Longmont, Colo. Lois and Lee Rather, White Bear Lake, Minn. Phyllis and Nick Fischer, Pulaski Marlee and Gary Greenawald, Green Bay 28 grandchildren 53 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. George (Lillian) Ness, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Annie Haef, Emma Haef, Minnie Pues and an infant sister three brothers, Henry, John and William Rief her first husband, Eugene LaPlante her second husband, Ernest Wolff and two grandsons, Dave and Steve Greenawald. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at First Assembly of God Church, 1438 Shawano Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Paul Hamelink and the Rev. Victor Hillestad, a friend of Matilda's officiating.
