The daughter of Jacob and Viola (Perkins) Lawrenz was born Oct. 1, 1951 in Milwaukee. She and her significant other, Ed Funk, were the former owners of Who-da's Tavern in Green Valley. Liz enjoyed cooking, fishing and gardening, and had a lovely flower garden. She loved her dogs. She also enjoyed shooting her pistols. To say that Liz was a social butterfly would be an understatement. Family and friends all agree that Liz was a social stick of dynamite. In addition to her significant other, Ed Funk, survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Jeff Bougie, Hofa Park; her two grandsons, Gavin and Hunter Bougie; her dog, Pixie; her mother, Viola Lawrenz, Shawano; three brothers and one sister and their families; Randy (Laurie) Lawrenz, Sheboygan, Jeff Lawrenz, Cleveland, Wis., Janet Lawrenz, Gillett, and Keith (Patty) Lawrenz, Shawano; nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jacob Lawrenz. Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14. The funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. officiating.
